Welcome to the Southgate Christian Fellowship's web site. We have tried to give you a flavour of what the church is like, and I hope you enjoy what you find here.

As a church we have been meeting in the area of Southgate since the early seventies. We are part of that growing number of churches throughout the UK and elsewhere that have rediscovered the living, dynamic, life changing Christianity of the New Testament.

For us Christianity is something to be enjoyed, not endured. Our members come from a wide variety of back-grounds and cover a large age range, but we all have one thing in common - we have been 'born again' into the family of God through faith in Jesus Christ. We have his peace in our hearts; we know his love binding us together as a church family; the Holy Spirit filling our lives, leading our worship and empowering us for his service.

Here in Southgate, North London, we are experiencing the excitement that God's Holy Spirit brings as people are born again and the church is renewed by God's power. God visits us in the meetings with visible demonstrations of his presence. We know God answers prayer and individuals are finding that God brings evident changes in their lives.

This reviving work of God is having an effect across the nation as churches - people and leaders - work together to see the good news of the kingdom of God spread throughout the region.
