Come with us through the gates of Heaven with thanksgiving in your heart and enter His courts with praise.
Most Sundays our services will follow a familiar pattern involving the following...
Praise and worship
Music has always played an important part in Christian worship, and our songs will be led from the front by the worship band. The songs are not always introduced but you will find the words on the screen.
The songs we sing are mostly modern songs. Music helps us meet with God and we encourage you to do this in a way that is helpful and meaningful to you. Please feel free to stand, sit or kneel as you feel appropriate.
Holy Communion
Most Sundays we take Holy Communion which is led by a member of the church. We welcome all who know and love the Lord Jesus to join with us in this time of fellowship together.
The Offering
Though churches like any other organisation need money to function, the focus of the offering is to bring our offerings to God and say 'thank you' for His love and faithfulness to us; to give to support others through the church's regular missionary giving; and to ask God's blessing on us the givers.
If you are with us as a visitor please feel under no obligation to give.
Preaching and Teaching
There is a crèche for babies and toddlers, and there are groups for children and younger teens. If you have children with you, the stewards or group leaders will point out the arrangements for the crèche and other groups.
The rest of us stay in the school hall for the teaching/preaching which is given by the pastor or another member of the church. Sometimes we have a visiting speaker. All teaching/preaching is based on the Bible, and is aimed at making our faith relevant to our everyday lives.
Ministry time and refreshments
At the end of the service there is normally a time of ministry, providing an opportunity for prayer. This ministry time is often extended beyond our saying the 'Grace' together into a more informal opportunity to chat and pray over a cup of coffee. If you would like prayer, or the opportunity to talk to someone, please see the pastor or speak to one of the other leaders.
We trust that you will enjoy your time of worship and fellowship with us. But, even more than this, we pray that, as you worship amongst us, you will experience the reality of Jesus Christ in your life.
On the first Sunday of each month we have 'Church 4 all' - an all-age service.
